BD1220D is themost advanced beam drilling & marking system made by FMC. The machine has 11 CNC axis to control the movement of feeding, drilling, marking, and tools changing. The threedrilling unitcan working simultaneously on flanges and web of the beam.Themachineequips witha hydraulic drivenlinear type toolchanger with4or 6 toolsfor each drilling spindle, which can auto change the tools when drilling different Dia. holes. The feedng system can be configured with customer's requirements to be either double-roller feeding or CNC carriage feeding. The drilling spindles are all equipped with carbide drills (rotation speed:180 1500 rpm)ensures higher productivity than drilling with H.S.S. drills. AC servo motorized powerful travels with nc controlled feeding speed enables to optimize the best drilling condition. External mist cooling or inner cooling through the drill bit are both availalbe on the machine. CNC Controlled marking unit being equipped on the unloading roller to mark pre-programmed numbers/characters on the flange of the beam. The marking depth is 1.5mm, which is clear enough after surface treatment like shot blasting, HD Galvanizing, etc.. The CNC system is Industry PC based with PLC and Module controlled. Individual control console and electrical cabin fixed beside the main machine. Remote diagnosis and Ethernet connection is also available.
